Jasmina Kovacevic-Calovic said the two most important events during her term as the Croatian consul-general were the suspension of the visa regime between Croatia and Serbia-Montenegro and the recognition of the status of a national minority for ethnic Croats in Serbia.
Commenting on the cooperation with the authorities at the state level, she told Hina on Wednesday that contacts had been established only after the ouster of the Slobodan Milosevic regime.
She voiced satisfaction with cooperation local authorities in Subotica since January 2000.
The outgoing consul-general said that despite of some anonymous phone threats she received at the beginning of this year, she felt safe in Vojvodina.
