forwarded a letter to the government asking that the issue of low pensions of
pensioners who retired in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia and Montenegro but now
live in Croatia be solved as soon as possible. The HSU asks of the government to draw up a bill under which 25,000
pensioners would be receiving an additional amount along with their pensions so
that the difference between their pensions and those of Croatian pensioners be
reduced.
"We ask of the government to draw up the bill as soon as possible so
that parliament could adopt it as early as this autumn;" HSU president Vladimir
Jordan told Hina on Wednesday.
