SARAJEVO, Aug 24 (Hina) - Top Bosnian Croat officials will visit Zagreb on Thursday or Friday, as it is believed that in the official Croatian archives there is the largest part of documentation of the Croat institutions in Bosnia-Herzegovina from the war period in 1990s, which is sought by the UN war crimes tribunal in relation to the trial of six war-time Bosnian Croat leaders, the Bosnian Croat liaison officer with the tribunal, Goran Mihaljevic said on Tuesday.

During the visit to Croatia, the officials will meet for talks with Justice Minister Vesna Skare Ozbolt and the head of the office for cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), Jaksa Muljacic, and ask them to help regarding the ICTY Prosecution's demands. It is very likely that the largest part of the relevant documentation is in Croatia, Mihaljevic said.

Permission will be sought for access to Croatia's state archives.

He added that the Croat member of Bosnia's collective presidency, Dragan Covic, will be at the helm of a delegation that will travel to The Hague in early September for talks with ICTY President Theodor Meron and Chief Prosecutor Carla del Ponte.

The tribunal's prosecution asks for minutes of sessions of the Bosnian HDZ party, the government of the then Croat Republic of Herzeg-Bosna and its parliament from April 1992 to December 1993 as relevant documents in the trial of Herzeg-Bosna senior officials: Jadranko Prlic, Bruno Stojic, Valentin Coric, Berislav Pusic and generals Slobodan Praljak and Milivoj Petkovic, .
