BANJA LUKA, Aug 18 (Hina) - A new mass grave was discovered in northern Bosnia on Wednesday, containing the remains of Muslims and Croats who during the 1990s war in Bosnia were detained in camps at Omarska, Keraterm, Ljubija and Trnopolje, the chairman of the missing persons commission of Bosnia's Croat-Muslim entity, Jasmin Odobasic, told reporters.

The discovery of the mass grave in the village of Trnopolje near Prijedor has postponed the inspection of a similar grave in Kevljani, also in Prijedor municipality, where the remains of another six persons were exhumed today.

A representative for the multinational corporation LNM, Mourari Mokhardji, which founded a joint company with Ljubija Mines, confirmed today LNM was willing to cooperate in the tracing of missing persons in the area of the Ljubija, Tomasica and Omarska mines.

The families of Croats and Muslims who were listed as missing from June 1992, after being detained in camps in the area, have recently objected to the privatisation of Ljubija Mines before the search is over.

According to statements of people detained in said locations in June and July 1992, victims were buried in nearby pits at the depth of 10-15 metres.
