ZUPANJA, Aug 15(Hina) - Archaeologists excavating on a section of the
future Zagreb-Lipovac highway in easternmost Croatia since mid-June have
discovered two graves with the incinerated remains of two persons from the
Bronze Age.These are the third incinerated remains recently found on the same
location, Prenjak.
In the graves, archaeologists have found well-preserved pots covering
the remains. Bosko Marjan, manager of the Stjepan Gruber Museum in Zupanja, who
is leading the team, has said the three graves date back to 1300-1250 AD, and
that Prenjak at that time was the location of a settlement with a
necropolis.
