The chairman of the Bosnian collective Presidency, Sulejman Tihic, and Dragan Covic, who is the vice-chairman of the presidency are on vacation by 16 August, the third member Borislav Paravac, who will go on holidays as of 16 August, has not appeared in the Presidency's offices in Sarajevo this week.
The chairman of the Bosnian parliament's Constitution and legal matters commission, Mirsad Ceman, is quoted by the daily as saying that there are no legal provisions regulating who may be on duty taking over tasks of the presidency while its members are on holiday.
The chairman of Bosnia's ministerial council, Adnan Terzic, has allowed the council's ministers to spend 15 days vacationing, and he is planning to travel to Greece and Turkey for this purpose. Most ministers also have chosen resorts abroad as destinations of their tourist journeys.
MPs in the state parliament are on collective three-week holiday.
Senior officials of Bosnia's two entities are also enjoying summer holidays. In the Croat-Muslim entity only Prime Minister Ahmet Hadzipasic is on duty, and in the Bosnian Serb it is Health Minister Boris Gaspar, the daily reports
