The GTC group invested some EUR 60 million in this project, creating 600 jobs.
At the opening ceremony in Osijek, GTC Supervisory Board chairman Eli Alroy said the company planned to build a total of 20 shopping centres in the region and that 10 had already been opened.
He thanked the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Croatian government and local authorities in Osijek for assistance in opening the facilities in Osijek.
EBRD Director for Croatia Zsuzsanna Hargitai said the bank had so far invested some EUR 140 million in real estate market development in Croatia, helping projects whose value was EUR 530 million.
In attendance at the ceremony was also Polish Ambassador to Croatia Wieslaw Tarka.
