ZAGREB, May 12 (Hina) - Zagreb's County Court on Wednesday will decide about the request of the Office for the Prevention of Corruption and Organised Crime (USKOK) for an investigation of former foreign minister Mate Granic and
businessman Darinko Bago on bribery charges, and about the investigating judge's disagreement with the request.
ZAGREB, May 12 (Hina) - Zagreb's County Court on Wednesday will decide
about the request of the Office for the Prevention of Corruption and
Organised Crime (USKOK) for an investigation of former foreign
minister Mate Granic and businessman Darinko Bago on bribery charges,
and about the investigating judge's disagreement with the request.#L#
The office of the president of the Zagreb County Court told Hina thaz
the decision would be announced fter the session.
Granic and Bago were placed in custody on Friday evening but were
released yesterday after the Zagreb County Court's investigating judge
assessed USKOK had not submitted sufficient evidence to suspect Granic
and Bago of involvement in bribery.
