ZAGREB, May 11 (Hina) - Zagreb's County Court did not decide on Tuesday about the request of the Office for the Prevention of Corruption and Organised Crime (USKOK) for an investigation of former foreign minister Mate Granic and
businessman Darinko Bago on bribery charges, nor about the investigating judge's disagreement with the request.
ZAGREB, May 11 (Hina) - Zagreb's County Court did not decide on Tuesday
about the request of the Office for the Prevention of Corruption and
Organised Crime (USKOK) for an investigation of former foreign
minister Mate Granic and businessman Darinko Bago on bribery charges,
nor about the investigating judge's disagreement with the request.#L#
The decision will be made on Wednesday, Hina learnt at the office of
the Zagreb County Court president.
Granic and Bago were placed in custody on Friday evening but were
released yesterday after the Zagreb County Court's investigating judge
assessed USKOK had not submitted sufficient evidence to suspect Granic
and Bago of involvement in bribery.
