Pursuant to article 12 of the agreement, the agreement enters into force 30 days after the deposition of a ratification document. Since the other successor states have previously notified their ratification, all conditions for the agreement to enter into force are now met. The agreement regulates distribution of the rights, liabilities, property and debt of the former Yugoslav federation among the five successors. The agreement was signed in Vienna on June 29, 2001. It includes seven annexes and three supplements regulating distribution of movable and immovable federal property, diplomatic and consular property, financial assets and liabilities, archives and so on.
