MOSTAR, May 1 (Hina) - The Central Bosnia committee of Bosnia-Herzegovina's Croatian Democratic Union party was subjected to additional financial sanctions by the Office of the High Representative on Saturday after it failed to adopt
a decision on the administrative organisation of schools attended by both Bosniak and Croat children, the Office confirmed.
MOSTAR, May 1 (Hina) - The Central Bosnia committee of
Bosnia-Herzegovina's Croatian Democratic Union party was subjected to
additional financial sanctions by the Office of the High
Representative on Saturday after it failed to adopt a decision on the
administrative organisation of schools attended by both Bosniak and
Croat children, the Office confirmed.#L#
Moreover, the party's accounts were blocked for the second month in a
row and its activity is virtually impossible.
Under High Representative Paddy Ashdown's decision, five percent of
the money the party is entitled to will be taken from its Central
Bosnia branch every week until the decision to administratively unify
said schools has been made.
