ZADAR, April 28 (Hina) - Zadar County prosecutor Ivan Galovic has confirmed receipt of a decision by the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor rejecting a request for Galovic's exemption from the trial of Zorana Banic, accused of war
crimes in Skabrnja in 1991.

confirmed receipt of a decision by the Office of the Chief State
Prosecutor rejecting a request for Galovic's exemption from the trial
of Zorana Banic, accused of war crimes in Skabrnja in 1991.#L#
The exemption request was made by Banic's attorney Luka Susak.
Galovic said the decision was expected because Susak failed to name
any reason or provide evidence for his alleged bias.
The trial is expected to resume soon.
The Office of the Chief State Prosecutor previously also rejected
Susak's request for the exemption of Zadar County prosecutor Galovic
from the trial of Milenko Radak, a Serb from Benkovac accused of war
crimes.
