SPLIT, April 17 (Hina) - Croatia's Justice Minister and the of the Democratic Centre (DC), Vesna Skare Ozbolt, said in Split on Saturday that fees charged by ICTY defence attorneys were paid by the Hague-based war crimes tribunal and that the Croatian government would only help those indictees whose standard of living had been deteriorated.#L# "The government will help only those indictees who cannot cover the costs of trials, such as General Rahim Ademi," Skare Ozbolt told reporters at the Split-Dalmatia DC electoral assembly. The minister particularly welcomed the guest at the assembly, retired Croatian Army General Luka Dzanko, who was an ICTY suspect but the tribunal's prosecution later abandoned its plans to indict him.
