RIJEKA PROJECT SATISFACTORY RIJEKA, April 10 (Hina) - A World Bank delegation, which spent the last week in the northern Adriatic port city of Rijeka overseeing the implementation of the "Rijeka Gateway" project, held a press
conference on Saturday at which it described the pace of implementation of the project as satisfactory.

week in the northern Adriatic port city of Rijeka overseeing the
implementation of the "Rijeka Gateway" project, held a press
conference on Saturday at which it described the pace of
implementation of the project as satisfactory.#L#
Project coordinator Michael Audige said that the purpose of the
project was to reform the work of the port by relying on the private
sector and increase the port's income by changing its infrastructure.
He said that road links with continental parts of the country were
important for the development of the port, adding that this part of
the project was also developing satisfactorily. He also cited as
important the modernisation of the railway line towards Zagreb.
