back its scientists currently working abroad, and the World Bank has
approved a US5 million loan for the project, Science and Education

Primorac described the project as historic, saying that it had taken
the World Bank only three months to evaluate it. He added that such
swift evaluation was unprecedented because it usually took about two
and a half years for the Bank to approve a loan to a Croatian
institution.
Primorac said he had called on Croatian scientists the world over to
return to their homeland to "leave their mark through their work". He
added that he would secure funds for projects they proposed and give
them jobs and apprentice researchers to work with them on their
projects.
