OSIJEK, April 5 (Hina) - The trial in the Paulin Dvor war crimes case resumed at Osijek County Court on Monday with the reading of statements by indictees Nikola Ivankovic and Enes Viteskic.

The two men are charged along with a number of as yet unidentified
persons with killing 19 Serb civilians in Paulin Dvor on 11 December
1991. At the time of the crime, the accused were members of the
Croatian Army's 130th Reserve Brigade and were off duty.
The court today heard the statements the accused had given during the
investigation, denying involvement in the crime.
Ivankovic and Viteskic have been in prison since September 2002.
The trial resumes on Tuesday.
