THE HAGUE, April 2 (Hina) - The president of the war crimes tribunal in The Hague, Theodor Meron, will submit a report on the cooperation of Croatia, Serbia-Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina with the tribunal to the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly in Strasbourg on May 7, Croatian Justice Minister Vesna Skare-Ozbolt said in The Hague on Friday after talks with Meron.
THE HAGUE, April 2 (Hina) - The president of the war crimes tribunal in The Hague, Theodor Meron, will submit a report on the cooperation of Croatia, Serbia-Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina with the tribunal to the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly in Strasbourg on May 7, Croatian Justice Minister Vesna Skare-Ozbolt said in The Hague on Friday after talks with Meron.#L# "All the talks we had in The Hague over the last couple of days were held in a positive climate. The big change in what Croatia is doing to join the EU and establish normal relations with (the tribunal) can be felt here in The Hague," she said, adding that she expected the Meron report on Croatia to be positive. Skare-Ozbolt said her meeting today with the president of the International Criminal Court, Gilbert Guillaume, had also been positive, addressing some procedural issues concerning Croatia's genocide claim against Serbia-Montenegro and relations in the region. The Croatian delegation visiting The Hague included state prosecutor Mladen Bajic, who submitted to the Office of the Prosecutor an additional report on measures taken to trace and arrest General Ante Gotovina, and the assistant justice minister for cooperation with international courts, Jaksa Muljacic.
