to seek appropriate accommodation for Croat settlers from Kosovo who
have been living in wooden sheds in a refugee camp in Dumace since
arriving in November 1999.#L#
Banac spoke to their representatives in nearby Petrinja on Wednesday.
"They were deceived with promises that they would be provided with
permanent accommodation and that their status would be resolved," he
told reporters, adding that as an MP from the local constituency he
would ask the state leadership to provide the 300 children and adults
with appropriate accommodation.
