The book "Serving My Country" deals with Croatia's 1991-1995 war of
independence with a special emphasis on the siege of Dubrovnik in the
autumn of 1991 by the Serb-led Yugoslav People's Army (JNA).
The book was initially published in English in 2002 with a foreword by
the late English philosopher and holder of an honorary doctorate from
the University of Zagreb, Kathleen Wilkes.
