The Serb Orthodox Church issued a statement saying that 35 churches and monasteries were destroyed in the riots.#L# The committee published the names of 15 ethnic Albanians and six Serbs who were killed in riots incited by the drowning of three Albanian boys in the Ibar river on March 16, something the Albanians blamed on the Serbs. Sources of the local U.N. Mission's police said that at least 200 people were arrested as part of an investigation into the incidents. The Ras-Prizren Eparchy said in a statement the list of destroyed and heavily damaged Orthodox buildings and monuments was based on data provided by local Serbs and unofficial international sources. The final report will be compiled once representatives of the Serb Orthodox Church have been granted access to the buildings, the statement said, adding that dozens of Orthodox cemeteries were desecrated as well. According to the latest official data of the local U.N. Mission police, 16 churches and monasteries were destroyed or damaged. (Hina) ha
