ZAGREB, March 23 (Hina) - Kosovo President Ibrahim Rugova has called on Albanians in Kosovo to guarantee safety and security to Serbs and other minorities, and called on local Serbs to invest more efforts to integrate into Kosovo's

Rugova told the BBC that only an independent Kosovo could lead to
permanent stability in the region, and added that the recent riots in
Kosovo did not diminish the province's chances of independence.
