Condemning the murder of one international and one Kosovo police
officer, UN Civil Administrator in Kosovo Harri Holkeri said measures
would be taken so that Kosovo and international institutions could
continue to function even after the attack.
Kosovo President Ibrahim Rugova said this crime was aimed against
Kosovo and international police, adding that criminals must be brought
to justice.
The Kosovo government, parliament, the Democratic Party of Kosovo and
the Alliance for Kosovo's Future have also condemned this terrorist
act.
The police have not yet issued a statement on the motives for the
murder.
