The protesters demanded that the authorities in Belgrade and the

population in Kosovo.
The protest was also attended by members of the association of
displaced Kosovo Serbs and the association for the protection of
Slobodan Milosevic called "Freedom".
After an extraordinary session yesterday afternoon the Serbian
government called on the UN Security Council to urgently hold a
session on the situation in Kosovo. During the evening, the most
senior officials of Serbia and Serbia and Montenegro discussed the
situation with UN Secretary General Kofi Annan and representatives of
the international community, as well as with the ambassadors of the
Contact Group member-countries in Belgrade.
