VIENNA, March 15 (Hina) - A more efficient international supervision over drug smuggling can be achieved if the entire society is actively involved in the combating of drug abuse. This is the message delivered at the beginning of the
47th session of the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) which started in Vienna on Monday.

Croatia joined the CND on January 1, 2004 for a four-year mandate. At
this year's session Croatia is represented by a 12-member delegation
which includes representatives of the ministries of justice, foreign
affairs, interior affairs, economy, and health. It is led by the head
of the government's office for the prevention of drug abuse,
Bernardica Juretic.
