VUKOVAR COUNTY COURT RECEIVES INDICTMENT AGAINST KADIJEVIC, ADZIC, JURJEVIC ... VUKOVAR, March 9 (Hina) - The Vukovar County Court has received an indictment issued by the Vukovar County Prosecutor which alleges that Veljko Kadijevic,
Blagoje Adzic, Zvonko Jurjevic, Bozidar Stevanovic, Zivota Panic, Mile Mrksic, Veselin Sljivancanin, Miroslav Radic, Vojislav Seselj and Goran Hadzic committed war crimes against civilians, the wounded, patients and POWs and destroyed cultural and historical monuments in the eastern city of Vukovar in the summer and autumn of 1991.
VUKOVAR, March 9 (Hina) - The Vukovar County Court has received an
indictment issued by the Vukovar County Prosecutor which alleges that
Veljko Kadijevic, Blagoje Adzic, Zvonko Jurjevic, Bozidar Stevanovic,
Zivota Panic, Mile Mrksic, Veselin Sljivancanin, Miroslav Radic,
Vojislav Seselj and Goran Hadzic committed war crimes against
civilians, the wounded, patients and POWs and destroyed cultural and
historical monuments in the eastern city of Vukovar in the summer and
autumn of 1991.#L#
According to a press release issued by the county court, the case will
be delegated to a panel of judges which includes judges Ante Zeljko,
Nevenka Zeko and Zlata Sotirov.
A total of 230 witnesses are going to be questioned. In addition,
contacts are planned with the Hague-based UN war crimes tribunal in
relation with the issuance of the indictment.
