BELGRADE, March 8 (Hina) - The incumbent sacrosanct leader of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), ICTY indictee Slobodan Milosevic, could leave his party by the end of the week and join the Radical Party of his former political
coalition partner, Vojislav Seselj, who has also been indicted by the ICTY, attorney Svetozar Vujacic told the Novi Sad-based Dnevnik daily on Monday citing "a reliable source" close to Milosevic.
BELGRADE, March 8 (Hina) - The incumbent sacrosanct leader of the

"Milosevic is very disappointed with the events in the Socialist
Party. He feels that he has been tricked because he agreed to head the
party slate on condition that another six or seven of his candidates
also be on the list but his wish was not respected. Milosevic also
demanded that Milorad Vucelic be the head of the (SPS) club of
deputies. He is embittered and he will say what he has to say on March
12. According to reliable information, I expect him to leave the SPS
and join the Radicals, who will give him an honorary post," Vujacic
said.
The SPS leadership did not nominate any Socialists from an association
of Milosevic's supporters called "Freedom" among its 22 deputies in
the Serbian parliament. Without consulting Milosevic, who was banned
by the ICTY from communicating with his party, SPS deputies supported
the election of the new minority government led by Prime Minister
Vojislav Kostunica.
