ZAGREB, March 4 (Hina) - Three officers of the Croatian Armed Forces on Thursday left for the United Nations Mission in Ethiopia and Eritrea (UNMEE) where they will be temporarily deployed under the UN command as unarmed military
observers for one year.

Colonel Stanko Paradzikovic, Corvette Captain Robert Marinovic and
Captain Darko Tkalcic will replace seven of their colleagues whose
one-year mandate has expired.
Croatian military observers have been participating in the UNMEE since
2001 together with some 220 military observers and 3,800 soldiers from
45 countries.
