ZAGREB, March 2 (Hina) - President Stjepan Mesic, Parliament Chairman Vladimir Seks and Prime Minister Ivo Sanader met in Zagreb on Monday night as part of "regular consultative meetings" to discuss further steps in the reform of the
defence system, the President's Office said in a statement on Tuesday.
ZAGREB, March 2 (Hina) - President Stjepan Mesic, Parliament Chairman
Vladimir Seks and Prime Minister Ivo Sanader met in Zagreb on Monday
night as part of "regular consultative meetings" to discuss further
steps in the reform of the defence system, the President's Office said
in a statement on Tuesday.#L#
The meeting was also attended by Foreign Minister Miomir Zuzul;
Defence Minister Berislav Roncevic; the chairman of the parliamentary
Home Policy and National Security Committee, Ivan Jarnjak; the Armed
Forces Chief of Staff, General Josip Lucic; the head of the
President's Office, Davor Bozinovic; the Presidential Military Affairs
Adviser, Retired General of the Army Petar Stipetic; the head of the
President's Military Office, Major General Kresimir Kaspar; and the
head of the Operations Department at the Armed Forces General
Headquarters, Brigadier General Vinko Stefanek.
Participants fully agreed on the further pace of reform and reaffirmed
their commitment to the ongoing process of adjustment to NATO
standards in line with goals defined in the national security and
defence strategies.
