Talking to reporters after his meeting with Bosnian Foreign Minister
Mladen Ivanic in Sarajevo on Wednesday, Fischer said the EU would most
likely take over command of international troops in Bosnia from NATO
by the end of this year.
The German minister added that his country would continue providing
assistance to Bosnia on its road towards the European Union and NATO's
Partnership for Peace programme.
