ZAGREB'S CIVIL ENGINEERING FACULTY CELEBRATES 85TH ANNIVERSARY ZAGREB, Feb 20 (Hina) - The 85th anniversary of the Civil Engineering Faculty at the University of Zagreb was marked on Friday by the opening of the the research centre
and a session of the Faculty Council. The Day of the Civil Engineering Faculty was also marked for the first time.

Council. The Day of the Civil Engineering Faculty was also marked for

Classes at the Civil Engineering Faculty started on 21 February 1919,
faculty's dean Dubravka Bjegovic said.
The faculty, included in the Bolognese process of harmonising European
higher education systems, today has nine institutes and several
laboratories, computer classrooms with 450 Internet connections.
