ZAGREB, Feb 9 (Hina) - Chairmen of the Olympic committees of countries in the area of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, including the head of the Croatian Olympic Committee, Zlatko Matesa, signed a memorandum of
understanding in Sarajevo on Monday. The document was signed by the Olympic committees of Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia-Montenegro and Macedonia.
ZAGREB, Feb 9 (Hina) - Chairmen of the Olympic committees of countries
in the area of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia,
including the head of the Croatian Olympic Committee, Zlatko Matesa,
signed a memorandum of understanding in Sarajevo on Monday. The
document was signed by the Olympic committees of Slovenia, Croatia,
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia-Montenegro and Macedonia.#L#
Present at the signing ceremony was also the chairman of the European
Olympic Committee, Mario Pescante.
The committee heads arrived in the Bosnian capital to attend events
marking the 20th anniversary of the Winter Olympic Games which were
held in Sarajevo in 1984.
