ZAGREB, Jan 29(Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Miomir Zuzul invited the Ambassador of Serbia and Montenegro to Croatia, Milan Simurdic, for talks at the Foreign Ministry headquarters in Zagreb on Thursday to convey the Croatian
government's concern over a deteriorating security situation and a series of incidents directed against Croats in Vojvodina and threats to the Croatian Consulate General in Subotica, a Foreign Ministry statement said.
ZAGREB, Jan 29(Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Miomir Zuzul invited
the Ambassador of Serbia and Montenegro to Croatia, Milan Simurdic,
for talks at the Foreign Ministry headquarters in Zagreb on Thursday
to convey the Croatian government's concern over a deteriorating
security situation and a series of incidents directed against Croats
in Vojvodina and threats to the Croatian Consulate General in
Subotica, a Foreign Ministry statement said.#L#
Zuzul requested that the Serbian authorities take all the necessary
measures to effectively protect the Croatian minority, their property
and monuments in Vojvodina.
Simurdic was informed of the Croatian government's foreign policy
priorities, which include cooperation with neighbouring countries.
The two officials underlined the need to maintain the positive pace of
relations and looked into possibilities of deepening cooperation
between the two countries.
