Serbia-Montenegro Ambassador to Croatia Milan Simurdic attended too.
The key demands of Croatian refugees remain property restitution, the
reconstruction of houses, the exercising of tenancy rights, and jobs,
said SDF executive committee chairman Veljko Dzakula.
There are about 200,000 refugees from Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina
currently in Vojvodina according to the 2001 Serbia-Montenegro census,
it was said at the meeting.
Vojvodina Executive Council deputy chairman Dusko Radosavljevic said
that regardless of who would be in power in the province, regional
relations would not be discontinued. "Our goal is to once again live
in a common state, in the European Union," he said.
