ZAGREB, Jan 29(Hina) - An agreement on the donation of technical
equipment by the German border police to the Croatian border police
was signed at the Croatian Police Directorate in Zagreb on Thursday.#L#
The donation consists of two infra-red cameras and five devices for
the detection of forged passports.
After the signing of the agreement, a state secretary at the Ministry
of Interior, Ivica Buconjic, thanked the German colleagues, saying
that Croatia could be faced with illegal migrations in the future
because of its geo-strategic position.
Germany's Deputy Ambassador Lauridis Hoelscher, who signed the
agreement, said the technical cooperation between the two police
forces would continue.
