ZAGREB, Jan 27(Hina) - Croatia's Permanent Mission at the Council of Europe organised the exhibition "Europa 2020" in Strasbourg on Monday. The event was organised in cooperation with the Croatian European Integration Ministry and the
General Council of the Lower Rhine.
ZAGREB, Jan 27(Hina) - Croatia's Permanent Mission at the Council of
Europe organised the exhibition "Europa 2020" in Strasbourg on Monday.
The event was organised in cooperation with the Croatian European
Integration Ministry and the General Council of the Lower Rhine.#L#
The exhibition features works presented at a pan-European poster
design competition, which was held in Zagreb in 2002 and gathered 80
designers from 23 European countries. The exhibition was opened by the
president of the Commission for Transborder Cooperation of the General
Council of the Lower Rhine, Louis Becker, the Council of Europe
Secretary-General's representative Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni, and
Croatian Ambassador Neven Madey.
Ambassador Madey said Croatia's organising the exhibition in
Strasbourg, the centre of the modern idea of European unity, bore
witness to the country's wish and potential to become a full member of
the EU.
