The exhibition was organised by the Croatian Embassy to Belgium, the
Zagreb-based National and University Library and the Belgian Royal
Library.
According to a press release issued by the Croatian foreign ministry,
this is a comprehensive show of Croatian manuscripts and printed books
from the early Middle Ages to the beginning of the 20th century. The
exhibition shows three alphabets which have been used on Croatian
soil: the Glagolitic alphabet, the Croatian Cyrillic alphabet and the
Latin alphabet as well as three languages: the Old Slavic, Latin and
Croatian.
