The Croatian Party of Rights (HSP) is to hold consultations on whether
its club of deputies will join the request, the clubs' chairmen, HIP's
Nenad Ivankovic, the HB's Tomislav Jelic and the HSP's Miroslav Rozic
told reporters.
Ivankovic said the City Assembly rules of procedure and statute did
not allow either co-organisation or the signing of an agreement since
neither the city deputies nor the committee on cooperation between
cities and between countries nor the Assembly deputy chairmen had
known about it.
He added that Palikovic-Gruden should have protected the Assembly's
dignity and either boycotted the conference or publicly protested
against "such manipulation". "Because she failed to do so, we shall
ask that she be recalled," Ivankovic said, labelling her conduct
"inappropriate".
