Sanader invited the heads of six union federations to to discuss ways
of cooperation among social partners in the future.
The meeting is expected to be attended by Deputy Prime Ministers
Jandranka Kosor and Andrija Hebrang, Economy Minister Branko Vukelic
and Finance Minister Ivan Suker.
Union federations forwarded a letter to Sanader in December requesting
a meeting on future social dialogue, tax policy and reforms. Unionists
said they wanted to inform the new PM of their views on social and
economic policies and establish the social partnership on new
foundations.
