ZAGREB ZAGREB, Jan 12 (Hina) - The International Graduate Business School formally opened in Zagreb on Monday as part of the Zagreb School of Economics, offering an international MBA programme in cooperation with the Kelly School of Business of the US University of Indiana.
ZAGREB, Jan 12 (Hina) - The International Graduate Business School formally opened in Zagreb on Monday as part of the Zagreb School of Economics, offering an international MBA programme in cooperation with the Kelly School of Business of the US University of Indiana.#L# Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dean Sonja Radas said the school would ensure the highest international standards of business education. The school was founded last June after three years of preparation. It will be attended by 16 students, including young people working at the oil company INA and the pharmaceutical firm Pliva. The curriculum consists of 20 courses that will be taught over a period of 18 months for a fee of 15,000 euros. Vice-dean Bruce L. Jaffe of the Kelly School of Business thanked the Croatian and US governments for financial and all other forms of support. The US government donated 500,000 for the school. The director of the Zagreb Economic Institute, Ivan Teodorovic, said the opening of the school was of exceptional importance to the Economic Institute, which marks its 65th anniversary this year. A special guest at the ceremony was the US ambassador to Croatia, Ralph Frank, who said that the US had confidence in Croatia's potential, and stressed the reputation the American MBA programme enjoyed world wide.
