Fini held talks with Kosovo Prime Minister Bajram Kosumi about preparations for the launch of the negotiations on Kosovo's final status and the issue of ethnic minorities.
PM Kosumi said he advocated the expansion of Italy-Kosovo relations, notably in the economy. The Italian minister positively assessed Kosumi and his government's involvement in the building of citizens' trust and the integration of ethnic minorities into Kosovo society.
Minister Fini visited Italian KFOR troops stationed near Pec. He also visited the Pec monastery where he held talks with top Serbian Orthodox Church dignitaries.
As part of his tour of the Balkans, the Italian official visited Belgrade yesterday and tomorrow he is scheduled to visit Tirana.
