Croatian general to take up position of UNMOGIP commander on 29 December

ZAGREB, Dec 28 (Hina) - Croatian Army Major General Dragutin Repinc left Zagreb on Wednesday to take up his new duties as commander of the United Nations peacekeeping mission in India and Pakistan (UMMOGIP) on 29 December.

Major General Repinc is the highest ranking Croatian national serving in the United Nations. His term will last one year and may be extended for another year.
