ZAGREB, Dec 21 (Hina) - Sweden will give Croatia 7.5 million kuna from2005 to 2007 for a project supporting Croatian institutions, to helpthem step up the process of European Union accession and the adoptionand implementation of the
Union's legal standards.
ZAGREB, Dec 21 (Hina) - Sweden will give Croatia 7.5 million kuna
from 2005 to 2007 for a project supporting Croatian institutions, to help them
step up the process of European Union accession and the adoption and
implementation of the Union's legal standards. A contract for the
project was signed by Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Kolinda
Grabar-Kitarovic and Swedish Ambassador Sture Theolin, the ministry said in a
press release.
Grabar-Kitarovic thanked Sweden for the project, and underlined
Sweden's continued support, notably in state administration reform,
strengthening of the judiciary, human rights, economic growth, sustainable use
of natural resources, care for the environment, gender equality and social
development.
