A debate on legal and ethic guidelines in reporting on victims of human trafficking, notably minors, and on violence when they were victims and perpetrators was moderated by journalist Sasa Lekovic.
The head of the government office, Luka Madjeric, recalled that 41 victims of trafficking in humans had been registered since 2002, including six this year, with the victims coming mostly from Romania, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia.
Madjeric said the age of victims had dropped and was now 17 and a half on average.
He added that exploitation was becoming increasingly widespread and came in an increasing number of forms.
