They discussed concretising cooperation, joint production of Croatian and Italian craftsmen, and export on third markets.
HOK president Stjepan Safran said Croatian craftsmen were aware of the need to step up adjustment to European Union standards and that they wished to use the experience and knowledge of their partners from Vicenza, as well as provide for stronger ties among craftsmen.
It was also agreed that HOK take part in projects of Centro Produttivita Veneto, which successfully implements a number of European projects for small enterprises and encourages small industry inventions.
HOK and the Association of Craftsmen from Vicenza signed a cooperation agreement in 1999.
