On that date, regulations on energy efficiency labelling will enter into force.
Electrical appliances manufactured in the European Union have been marked with such labels since 1993.
Some distributors of EU electrical appliances in Croatia have retained the original labels in the English language, some have removed them, and some distributors, i.e. chains of stores such as Elektropromet and Metro, have translated the labels into Croatian.
Some Croatian manufactures of electrical appliances, such as the Koncar company, are already marking their products with 'Energy Efficiency' labels.
