Dr Simun Andjelinovic spoke of the causes of the deaths of two civilians with which the eight accused are charged.
Dr Andjelinovic, who performed autopsies on Nenad Knezevic and Gojko Bulovic in 1992, confirmed his earlier statements and the results of the autopsies in their entirety, saying that the two civilians had died as a result of multiple injuries and violence.
Knezevic died of acute pneumonia resulting from severe injuries inflicted by blunt and hard objects, the witness said, adding that the gunshot wounds visible on the victim's right lower arm and lower leg were of a minor nature and inflicted by a hand-held firearm.
Bulovic also died a violent death as a result of blows by blunt and hard instruments, the doctor said.
Under the indictment, Knezevic was beaten up and shot and wounded on 12 June 1992 as he tried to escape from Lora. A few days later he died in the Split hospital. Bulovic was beaten up on the same day and died in the hospital.
