According to a statement released on the web site of the State Prosecutor's Office, after the UN war crimes tribunal at The Hague, referred the case to Croatia, the chief state prosecutor appointed the the Zagreb County State Prosecutor's Office to deal with the case.
Documents submitted along the case are currently being analysed so as to adjust the existing ICTY indictment to the Croatian legislation.
The ICTY Prosecutor's Office on 31 October referred the case against Ademi and Norac to the Croatian State Prosecutor's Office.
The Hague tribunal charged the two generals in two counts with violations of laws and customs of war and crimes allegedly committed against Serb civilians and their property during Medak Pocket Operation between 9 and 17 September 1993.
