The government said the agreement was an encouragement to the development of economic cooperation and bigger investment as well as to cooperation in the realisation of the highest level of protection of social rights.
In line with the agreement, Croatia is entitled to tax pensions of Croatian citizens who worked in Slovenia as their country of residence, read the press release.
The agreement was signed at the first joint session of the two countries' governments, held in Croatia on June 11. It is a central part of a package of concrete initiatives aimed at developing partner relations.
