Croatian president to address U.N. summit on information society on Wednesday

ZAGREB, Nov 15 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic will address a UN summit on information society, which takes place in Tunis from 16 to 18 November.

Mesic will be the first speaker at the summit, and his speech will focus on possibilities of information society and risks faced by humanity as a result of exposure and access to a great deal of information.

The first part of the World Summit on Information Society took place in Geneva in December 2003, when 175 countries adopted a declaration on principles and an action plan.
