A delegation of the Latvian parliamentary committee visited the Croatian Parliament and met representatives of the Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, led by chairman Gordan Jandrokovic.
We are pleased to see Croatia drawing closer to the EU, we support that process and will help Croatia become a full member of the EU and NATO, Paegle told reporters after meeting Jandrokovic.
Croatia's admission to these Euro-Atlantic associations is important because it is the key to stability and democracy in the entire region, she said.
Jandrokovic thanked Latvia for supporting Croatia on its path to NATO and the EU, adding that the two countries had already developed concrete forms of cooperation regarding the transfer of Latvia's experience in the process of EU integration.
